World Book Day
On Thursday 7th March, we had a wonderful celebration for World Book Day!
The day started off with all the children gathering in the hall and class by class the children and staff paraded around the hall so we could all see their wonderfully diverse costumes based on many different books. Well done everyone for making such a fantastic effort!
Afterwards, the KS2 children participated in a day of activities based on six decades of books, including the 1950s, 1980s, 1990s and the 2000s. They thoroughly enjoyed collecting their passport stamps and learning about the books from each decade. Every child received a special World Book Day sticker and a book token. Happy reading everyone!
