Inspiring and Challenging Every Girl to Reach Her Full Potential

Mini Tough Mudder

Loreto Preparatory School will kick off their fundraising campaign to build an all-weather sports pitch with Bitesize Bootcamp.

The independent preparatory school on Dunham Road Altrincham are hoping that their girls will be able to enjoy year round sporting activities on the all-weather surface.

The first event for the sports’ mad girls will be an obstacle course on a mudder pitch run by the Bitesize Bootcamp who came into school to put the girls through their paces.

Loreto’s Head of Physical Education, Antonia Gillespie, said: “The girls can’t get enough sport; they want to try anything and everything and though an obstacle course on a mud soaked pitch might sound awful to some to our girls it’s the stuff of dreams.”

The new pitch would allow the school to offer all sports in all weathers increasing options for hockey, tennis, netball, rounders, football and many other sports.

Loreto Preparatory School’s Headteacher Anne Roberts said: “Loreto Prep has an outstanding reputation for sport with our girls regularly winning events in a wide range of sports at local, regional and national level.

“Providing a new all-weather surface will broaden and enhance what we can offer and the girls simply can’t wait to get going.”

The sponsored fundraising event is planned for next month.
