Practicalities SCHOOL HOURS Children should be in school by 8.40 am ready to attend assembly at 8.45 am. Finishing Times Nursery and Reception 3pm Preps 2 and 3 3.15 pm Preps 4 5 3.30 pm Preps 6 7 3.35 pm FEES Fees are due on the first day of term or may be paid in10 monthly instalments. Further details are available from the school Bursar. Fees cover the cost of tuition textbooks and stationery. Not included in the fees Curriculum visits Extra curricular activities Private music lessons Musical instruments The school is a partner in the Trafford EarlyYears Partnership and provides up to 15 hours free for children who qualify under the EarlyYears terms and conditions. Further details are available from the Bursar TERMS Autumn Spring Summer. UNIFORM The school has a uniform policy and parents are asked to see that their childrens uniform conforms to the regulations. It is most important that all items of uniform and other belongings be named. TRANSPORT There are school bus services from Flixton StockportWarrington Stockton Heath. Lymm Newton-le-Willows Croft and Culcheth and Wilmslow. Pupils must be in the Junior Department to travel on the school bus i.e. in Prep 4 Year 3 or above. BEFORE and AFTER SCHOOL CARE The school is open for children from 8.00am. The children may come into the main hall where they are supervised by a member of staff until assembly time. Children in the Foundation Stage may arrive from 8.30am. The After School club starts at 3.30pm and is for children of Loreto Preparatory School only. After an initial play the children have a light snack and then do a range of activities. There is a quiet area for homework. The club currently runs until 5.30pm but an Early Doors option of 4.30pm is also available. Children may attend this club from the time they are in Prep 1 Reception NOTICE OF LEAVING Parents are required to give one complete terms notice in writing or one terms fees in lieu of notice prior to the removal of a pupil. The Governors reserve the right to ask for the withdrawal of a pupil should the necessity arise.
